It is the restaurant of choice for Shanghais Italians and Italian connoisseurs, attracted by the hearty servings, intimate atmosphere, Chianti wine and reasonable prices. One minor drawback is the location in an apartment complex. Once you find it though, the food more than compensates for the inconvenience. The fettuccine with grilled eggplant and sun-dried tomatoes is substantial enough to satisfy the meatiest meat eaters. Otherwise, try the oven-baked, Parmesan coated veal chop, with roasted eggplant and tomatoes.
