• Kommune was one of the first businesses to move into the Taikang Lu area and a catalyst for the groovy scene of boutiques and cafes that has sprung up since. Set in a small courtyard with plenty of outdoor seating, it's a great place to rest up in between shopping and checking out small galleries. The menu is short and to the point with great Bloody Marys, and it's a popular place for weekend brunch. Service is friendly, if sometimes a little too relaxed. Sitting under the tree with a cold beer and a friend is a great way to while away a Sunday afternoon.
