Description:

  • If you're looking for casual Lebanese food in Sharjah, come to Sanobar. The somewhat kitsch dining room is decorated with photos from Lebanon, fishnets hanging from the ceiling, and replica creatures from the sea, including a glass-framed lobster, hanging on the wall. No surprise that the focus, then, is seafood, including hammour, salmon, calamari, shrimp, and lobster. The menu shows a photo of each dish, so you'll know exactly what you're in for. All selections are accompanied by hummus, a slice of garlic bread, and a large salad packed with tomatoes, onions, carrots, lettuce, and cucumber. The Sanobar Special is a generously portioned and well-priced plate with fresh fish, shrimp, and lobster. Since no alcohol is served, order one of the refreshing fruit juices to wash it all down.
