Description:
The centerpiece of the Arts Area, this is the largest art museum in the Arabian Gulf. It houses the personal collection of more than 300 paintings and maps belonging to Sharjah's ruler, HH Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, as well as other permanent displays of Arabian art. In addition, the museum offers frequently changing art exhibitions. There's an arts library, bookshop, and cafe here, as well. Wednesday afternoons are for ladies only.
