This recently renovated and expanded hotel is popular with tour groups and offers clean, utilitarian comfort. Affordable rates brings 'em in in droves. The new pool is small but cozy, and new rooms are clean, large, and well appointed, sufficiently familiar with tidy carpeting, new wood furnishing, and that new-car smell -- some have pool views. Baths are small but tidy. The staff is friendly and can help arrange guides and rentals. This is an overall good value, but there's little atmosphere to speak of. Tour groups also mean crowds at times.
