- Established in 1896, this bar is known as The Connoisseur's Haven. The atmosphere projects a distinctive Old World style with offerings of Cuban cigars, port, sherry, cognacs and even chocolates. Of course, you can also play billiards in the elegant surroundings. In the evenings, savour light jazz sounds from the house band from Monday to Saturday. It is unfortunate that this bar is most famous for being the spot where the last tiger in Singapore was killed as it cowered under a billiard table.
