Brewerkz, with outside seating along the river and an airy contemporary style inside -- like a giant warehouse built around brewing kettles and copper pipes -- brews the best house beer in Singapore. The bar menu features five tasty brew selections from recipes created by their English brew master: Nut Brown Ale, Red Ale, Wiesen, Bitter, and Indian Pale Ale (which, by the way, has the highest alcohol content). Their American-cuisine lunch, dinner, and snack menu is also very good -- I recommend planning a meal here as well. Open Monday to Thursday noon to midnight, Friday and Saturday noon to 1am, and Sunday 11am to midnight. Happy hour is held daily noon to 3pm, with two-for-one beers.
