Singapore is all about five star luxury and the nightlife scene is no exception, with new places opening all the time in the battle to be the latest hotspot to see and be seen in. The current trend is for roof-top drinking with a view, and many bars on the list follow this trend.
Number one is the current spot to see and be seen, with undoubtedly the best view from any bar in the city - Ku De Ta. This restaurant, bar, pool, restaurant and dance club in-one, attracts the beautiful people, so be sure to dress for the occasion. If you have a head for heights, then be sure to check out 1-altitude - the world's highest al-fresco bar.
Other roof bars on the list, albeit with slightly more modest altitudes, include Club Street's Club Skybar, old favourites Loof and the Screening Room and current hotspot Lantern, which boasts fabulous views across the Marina Bay. Former favourite for sundowners with a view is the New Asia Bar - it might not be as on trend as some of the newcomers, but its views are still staggering and at least you can enjoy your lychee martini in air-conditioned comfort.
