There are loads of fun things to do in Singapore, whether you are looking to entertain the whole family, hang out with a good bunch of friends or just have a fun time with your loved one. Yes, the favourite pastimes here may be eating and shopping, but when you've had your fill of restaurants and malls, then here are our top ten ideas for fun things to do in Singapore.
Topping the list is Universal Studios. Southeast Asia's only Universal Studios theme park will keep the whole family entertained with its movie-themed rollercoasters, rides and attractions. Coming in a close second is the Night Safari, the world's first night-time wildlife park. This perennial favourite with visitors to Singapore has attracted over 11 million visitors since it opened in 1994 looking to spot some of the 1,000 nocturnal animals from 120 different species in their naturalistic habitat.
Those looking for a fun way to do some sightseeing in and around Singapore, shouldn't miss the Singapore Flyer, the world's highest observation wheel with stunning views over the city and beyond, take the Cable Car from Mount Faber to Sentosa, or jump aboard a Chinese junk boat for a Harbour Cruise, or try out the family favourite DuckTour where you can climb aboard a converted war vessel and explore the city on road and water.
Adrenaline junkies are well catered for in Singapore also, with the Mega Zip Adventure Park, the Sentosa Luge (both in Sentosa), Clarke Quay's G-MAX Bungee and the East Coast's 360 Wakeboard park all great ideas for an afternoon of fun in Singapore.
