The Singapore Flyer is currently the world's largest observation wheel and boasts fabulous views over the city and out towards the surround islands of Singapore. A stay at a hotel close to this impressive landmark will reward you with views across Marina Bay, and proximity to several nightlife, restaurant and entertainment options.
Number one on our list goes to the Marina Bay Sands, which has been hogging all the headlines in the international press lately thanks to its stunning rooftop swimming pool atop the three staggering hotel towers. The Singapore Flyer is a pleasant walk across the Helix Bridge from the hotel complex, although with its own shopping mall, casino, theatre and numerous restaurants you may never want to leave the premises.
Equally close by are two other luxurious options - the Mandarin Oriental and the Ritz Carlton, both boasting several first class restaurants and the facilities and service you would expect from such well-established hospitality brands. Business favourites the Pan Pacific, Marina Mandarin and the Conrad are all also within easy walking distance.
Slightly further away and perhaps warranting a short taxi ride if you are suffering from the heat and humidity, is the Swissotel and Fairmont, linked underground via a large shopping mall with its own MRT entrance and several restaurants. Across the road from here you will find the world-famous Raffles Hotel and the only boutique option on our list - the snazzy and luxurious Naumi hotel.
