Singapore is something of a giant playground for kids, with the child-friendly beaches of Sentosa and world-class visitor attractions throughout the island perfect for a day of family fun.
Sentosa is where you will find the highest concentration of kid-friendly attractions, including number one on our list – Universal Studios Singapore, with its movie-themed rollercoasters, rides and attractions. Numbers two and three on our list go to firm favourites, the Singapore Zoo and Jurong Bird Park, both excellent examples of their kind, with plenty of animals, shows and activities to keep the kids entertained for an entire day, and many more visits to come. Older children will enjoy the added thrill of spotting animals in the dark at the Night Safari, while kids of all ages love spotting the sharks in the tunnel at Underwater World – don't miss the opportunity to visit the pink dolphins at Dolphin Lagoon while you're there.
There is plenty to amuse the whole family in the various nature reserves around Singapore, such as MacRitchie Reservoir, the Botanic Gardens and number 10 on our list – the Sungeil Buloh Wetland Reserve where you might be lucky enough to spot a crocodile! Adrenalin junkies are also well catered for and will enjoy flinging themselves down the hill at the Sentosa Luge, or whizzing down the Mega Zip Adventure Park.
