    • It's hard to believe this eccentric boutique hotel on the outskirts of Chinatown was once a public school. All traces of institutional ambiance have been washed away with bright colors and retro-themed furniture. There are seven room categories ranging from modest Superiors to outlandish Theme Suites (with round waterbeds and Jacuzzi tubs). No matter which you book you're guaranteed to have a memorable stay and enjoy the big screen TV and complimentary wireless internet access.  Facilities include a fitness center, restaurant, and reasonably priced spa. Hotel Re!'s location on a quiet hillside is a bit out of the way, but a hotel shuttle service is available.

      Retro hotel, small rooms and inconvenient location

    • I stayed in their cheapest room and it was very small. Singapore rooms are usually small but this was more so. Its on a small hill, so unless you have a vehicle or use their shuttle...
