- Designed by backpackers for backpackers, The Hive has been one of Singapore's most popular hostels since it opened in 2005. Accommodation is in dorms (mixed or female-only) or private rooms in configurations for one, two, three, and even four people. Most rooms share bathroom facilities. The Hive attracts a fun-loving crowd and with ample common space including a lounge with a TV and pool table ensures there's never a dull moment! Rates include use of guest computers, wireless internet access, and breakfast. The Hive is located near Boon Keng MRT on the outskirts of Little India. A second branch near Kallang MRT opened in 2011.
