YMCA International House

Description:

  • The YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association) hostel is popular with young travellers and backpackers. Officially opened in February 1911, the old YMCA building was used as the Kempeitai (Japanese secret police) headquarters during World War II. In the early 1980s, the premises was rebuilt and the new YMCA building was consecrated in 1984. Today, a wide range of accommodation is available: Standard, Family and Superior Rooms, as well as dormitory beds. International direct dialing facilities and complimentary breakfast provided for all guests, except those staying in the dormitories.
