Description:
- In a neighborhood of expensive international restaurants, the Holland Village Food Centre is one of few spots for an authentic Singaporean meal on a budget. There are about a dozen food stalls and each specializes in a few local dishes. Choose from fried noodles, Hainanese chicken rice, rojak fruit salad, roti with curry, and more each for under SGD5! The food is best washed down with a big bottle of locally-brewed Tiger Beer sold by the drink stall and costing half what the nearby bars charge for the same thing This is a food centre, not a restaurant, so don't expect table service or air-conditioning. Each stall sets its own hours. -Tanya Procyshyn
