- Opened on 28th April 2011, Joël Robuchon Restaurant and its sister restaurant L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon at Resorts World Sentosa are Mr Robuchon's first foray into Southeast Asia. But the chef needs no introduction - a true legend in the culinary world, Mr Robuchon has a staggering 26 Michelin stars to his name, from his 22 restaurants which span ten cities across the globe.
Joël Robuchon Restaurant is the more formal of the two restaurants and presents a fine dining restaurant with a repertoire of inventive French classics. Diners can expect the quality and service of a three Michelin-star restaurant as it currently exists in Las Vegas, Paris and Tokyo. Executive chef Tomonori Danzaki's aim is to marry simple favours and present food as visual artistry on a plate.
The main dining area reflects Robuchon's dream family dining room, creating a warm and comfortable, yet luxurious atmosphere. The adjoining indoor winter garden is a unique feature, with a huge tree in the centre as a focal point. Lined with plants and with a sky roof top, the winter garden provides an intimate atmosphere, perfect for private parties of up to 16 guests.
Try out the 16-course degustation menu, which many famed food critics have described as pure 'magic', or make selections from the ala carte menu, and don't miss the famous bread, cheese, dessert, ice-cream and tea trolleys. To top off the dining experience, Robuchon's sommeliers can make recommendations from the extensive wine cellar and wine list featuring more than 1,200 labels.
The restaurant is open for dinner Tuesday – Saturday.
