Description:

• When the wine lists at most of Singapore's restaurants start at around $80, the reasonably priced choices at Wine Connection make for a welcome change. The company imports over 500 labels which are sold at wholesale prices at its 5 outlets around the island. The Robertson Quay branch is the only to have expanded into a Deli & Bistro, serving up a selection of European dishes including pastas, salads and meat dishes. Most people however opt for the pick-your-own cheese and antipasti platters. The roadside setting may not be as picturesque as its riverside neighbours, but the crowds that flock here every night are testament to the great value wine and food on offer at this popular hangout. A Wine Connection Tapas Bar & Bistro opened around the corner from the Deli in January 2012.
