Description:
- This sailing course is designed to introduce young children to the sport of sailing. All participants must be at least 7 years of age, fit and be able to swim at least 50 metres. Those who complete the basic sailing course will be awarded with the SYA Sailing Proficiency Level I Certificate. Each course consists of 20 hours of instruction and are conducted by certified instructors. Weekday sessions are for two hours twice a week, for five weeks. Weekend sessions last five hours a day for two weekends.
