• Not only is this one of the more beautiful places in Singapore, but you can learn a whole lot just while taking in the scenery. Here, hundreds of turtles occupy a picturesque lake in the middle of the Chinese Garden. After taking a gander at the swarming heads and bodies at the surface of the water, take the small wooden bridge to see the turtles' land-roaming cousins: the tortoise. On the banks of the lake, these large creatures lazily occupy their time munching on greens and while slowly avoiding the footsteps of tourists. Its a great day out for kids!
