• The private Museum of Art & Design (M.A.D) is located on the third floor of the Mandarin Gallery shopping mall in Orchard Road, and is a must-visit for fans of contemporary art.
  
  The gallery houses rare and usually inaccessible art pieces, and states that its main aim is 'to educate, excite and extend the world of modern art to those who have not been privileged enough (yet) to immerse and experience' it.  Its annual calendar sees an eclectic line-up of exhibitions and events relating to fashion, art, design and life, in addition to hosting regular visual installations, real time work by artists in residence, workshops, seminars and parties.
