- The Sands Theatre and the Grand Theatre lie adjacent to each other and together attract world-famous shows and attractions. The Sands Theater with a capacity of 1,680 guests on two levels opened on November 30th 2010 with worldwide dance sensation Riverdance, and will go on to host award-winning Broadway musical The Lion King in March 2011.
Meanwhile the Grand Theater, will stage a wide-range of headlining acts, performing arts and gala events kicking off on March 7th 2011 with a performance by the legendary Elvis Costello. The theater can seat up to 2,155 guests over three levels.
