"next week..." is still our Lunar New Year festive celebrations.Chinatown WILL be tourists 'MUST' destination.However,there's plenty of rainstorms;so bring along a brolli ;-} if you want to keep moving around town & scenic spots or eateries.
"best place to eat seafood?..." is at Singapore's world famous East Coast/Lagoon Seafood Center.It has a collection of top restaurants in Singapore.More attractively,it's located alongside the east coast beach;just 8-10mins from our international airport.Almost every kind of seafood is available,airflown daily.Besides many Singaporean recipe will suit most tastebuds.A great example will be 'mee goreng' to go with our most famous chilly crabs !
"best shopping?..." could be a 24/7 experience-where almost everything under the sun can be available under 1 roof ! But,of course Singapore boast a widest range of shoppers' paradise from top -end to the budget conscious;viz.Orchard Road to Chinatown & Little India.
"best must do?..." is very much a relative issue;dependent on your likes/dislikes.Singapore has a string of popular night haunts with world famous party hosts like Zouk etc.Integrated resorts also available to those keen on theme parks like Universal studios & casino.Wildlife & Nature parks{birds/zoo & night safari} too. Currently Singapore hosts the worlds' largest & tallest:Flyer/Eye.
" best must see?..." can be another world famous :-'chicken farm' 24/7 ;-} , & Changi village after midnight.Will leave the mystery here.

It would be useful to know where you are from and what type of activities you like doing. Without this info here are more generic suggestions.

*Seafood: No Signboard Seafood restaurant, original branch. Address: No. 414 Geylang (http://nosignboardseafood.com/). This is located in Singapore's "red light district" and is extremely vibrant at night. You can visit the many durian stalls and order a 'Mao Shan Wang' (literally cat mountain king) durian to try. I wouldn't recommend the lower grades unless you already like durian.
*Shopping: the range is too wide. in the Kampong Glam / Arab Street area you can find lots of textiles and quirky things; in Chinatown you can find everything Chinese, including tea (most conveniently within a building called Yue Hwa http://www.yuehwa.com.sg/); on Orchard road are infinite sources of upscale fashion, accessories; in Bugis are malls catering more younger tastes
*To Do: world-renowned Night Safari and Zoo; visit the Peranakan Museum on Armenian Street; stroll through Little India and the great 24/7 Mustafa Shopping Centre for a taste of India (you can also find everything there). *Must See: answers for this would overlap with above already given answers. In addition then, you should probably see Chinatown, Little India, Kampong Glam. Some would say you should see the Merlion but it's really just a monument for tourists to snap pictures at and with. See Marina Bay Sands for its architectural beauty. Pay some money to get to the very top for a great view of Singapore, or have a drink at Swissotel's Equinox Bar at night and have an almost 360-degree view of Singapore from there on the 70th floor.

- best place to eat seafood: East Coast Seafood Centre. This is a strip of open-air restaurants all serving seafood, right on the water, great atmosphere. Personal favourites are Jumbo and Long Beach. Don't miss the chilli crab with buns!

- best shoppping: Orchard Road for 'high-street' and designer shopping. Orchard Rd has the biggest concentration of shopping malls in the world, literally one after the other, quite overwhelming for a first-timer! For souvenirs and gifts, try the shops and marketstalls of Chinatown.

i would suggest turf city for seafood, shopping depends on ur budget u can go to bugis street, and go to sentosa, world resort ..
