Cedros Design District - Solana Beach
  • Type: Culture
  • NileGuide Expert Says:

Third Thursdays on Cedros are held on, of course, the third Thursday of every month from 5:30-8:30pm, when most of the shops and galleries stay open late, and many schedule exhibit openings, serving wine and refreshments while visitors stroll from shop to shop

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Take advantage of the local fare every Sunday when the Cedros Avenue Farmer's Market takes over half of the district, from 1 to 5pm.

    Description:

    • This small street just parallel to the 101 in Solana Beach offers up the area's most unique shops, design stores, chic restaurants and local flare. Merely three blocks, the aptly named "design district" is home to several magazines, San Diego's own design shopes, an organically vegan restaurant and the famous indie venue The Belly Up. Literally across the street from the Solana Beach train station, this place can be found easily and should not be missed if you're interested in purchasing any gifts, home decor or catching a under-the-radar musician.
