Close to biking, hiking, wine tasting. The inn has a 5 star rating with TripAdvisor and has 3 stars with AAA. Named for Charles Crocker, founder of the Central Pacific Railroad, the property began as a hunting retreat often visited by Charles Crocker and his cronies. The lodge is was built 1907 with redwood framing and siding. It has been updated but retains its original rustic charm.

    Nice Owners-very remote location-paper thin walls!
