- Shiso offers Asian food and is also a Suhsi bar. Their specialties include Miso soup, Roasted Winter Mushrooms, Braised Beef Short Ribs and crispy mouth-watering Pork Belly. The lighting in the restaurant is nice and creates a romantic atmosphere. The comfortable seating and cozy bar would tempt one to pay a second visit. The restaurant is run by Ed Metcalfe who has 25 years of experience in the food business...and this certainly shows in the food and service offered here. The staff is very friendly and welcomes everyone with a smile.

COOL place in an expensive town

we enjoyed our experience at lokal. they play old movies on the wall, serve beer and good german food. a much needed place in a town that is expensive to eat in. we'll be back...
