Description:

  • So incredible are the views of the Mayacamas Mountains from this winery that when owner Rick Kasmier and his wife Sandi came here for the first time, they couldn't help but drop anchor. The basement became the wine production house and vineyard and wine-tasting room began in 2003. With an annual production of 1000 cases, Kaz is the smallest winery in the wine country of Sonoma. Kasmier has created his own label of vintage with hand-colored family photos on it. Come by to feast on some rare varieties like the Lenoir, Malbec, Barbera and DeChaunac. He claims to be one of the only two people in California to grow Lenoir - a French-American hybrid grape producing the darkest juice ever. Get your family along to spend the weekend and the dwelling place will be taken care of - the Little House at this place can accommodate up to two couples or a family and is equipped with a BBQ and wood fire place.
