Description:

  • This elegant restaurant doubles as a museum dedicated to the famous Italian tenor who so loved Sorrento. The cuisine is excellent, although we find the touch of nouvelle -- particularly in the portion sizes -- a little passé. The menu is seasonal, and you'll likely find such delicious meals as ravioli all'aragosta (lobster ravioli), ravioli con salsa di melanzane (ravioli with an eggplant sauce), lasagne ai frutti di mare (seafood lasagna), tasty riso con zucchine e gamberi (rice with shrimp and zucchini). For secondo, we highly recommend the grilled fish. For dessert, torta di arance e noci (orange and walnut cake) is not to be missed if it's available.
