Sant'anna da Emilia

Description:

  • This moderately priced restaurant is a local favorite, housed in an ancient boatshed in Marina Grande and complete with an outdoor terrace on a wooden pier. It is mobbed in summer, so be prepared to wait if you want to taste the great homestyle cuisine, with a daily menu that varies with the market offerings. Simplicity is the key to success here, and we promise you won't taste a better Caprese (mozzarella and fresh tomato salad) or spaghetti alle cozze (with mussels). We also recommend the gnocchi alla Sorrentina (Sorrento-style potato dumplings). The house wine is also excellent.
