- The Getaway Cafe serves up alpine comfort food in Meyers near South Lake Tahoe. The cafe is located on Highway 50 between Kirkwood, Sierra-at-Tahoe, and Heavenly ski resorts and serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
Breakfast items include the Veggie Benedict with poached eggs, avocado, sauteed tomatoes and spinach on an English muffin or Coconut-Crusted French Toast. Lunch items include sandwiches, burgers, daily soup specials and salads. Dinner items include sandwiches and burgers as well as pasta and house specialties like Chicken Cordon Bleu, Fish Tacos and Blackened Shrimp and Jambalya Rice.
Wines by the glass and the bottle, and various beers are available.
