Description:
- This trail is located near the west shore of Lake Tahoe. Following the road along McKinney Creek, this trail has a 700 foot elevation gain and is unmarked. Enjoy beautiful forested views while skiing this moderate path to McKinney and Lily lakes. Snowmobiles are allowed on some parts of the trail. From Homewood follow Highway 89 south to the McKinney-Rubicon Springs Road. Turn west, then take the first left on Bellevue and then the second right on McKinney Road (follow the signs to Miller Lake). Bear left on McKinney-Rubicon Springs. Go straight at the stop sign and park where the snowplowing ends. Parking is limited.
