Meeks Creek Cross-country Ski Trail

Description:

• This trail is located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. Follow an old logging road along Meeks Creek for approximately 1.75 miles. You can ski a 3.5 mile loop by crossing the creek and following the road back to the highway. For some more exercise, try skiing the meadow. Use caution crossing snow bridges, as they may be weak. Snowmobiles are NOT allowed. From South Lake Tahoe follow Highway 89 north to Meeks Bay. Parking is located along Highway 89, 1/4 mile south of Meeks Bay fire station or 1/2 mile north of Meeks Bay Campground.
