It looks like there will be a decent amount of snow for the holiday, so if the weather is nice, try some snow tubing. A good free place to go is the hills near the corner of Hwy 50 and Hwy 28 near Spooner Lake. You can also take the Heavenly Tram up to the Heavenly Ski resort and go to their tubing area. Heavenly also has arcades and a movie theater. Take a nice drive to the Tahoe Meadows area at the Mt. Rose Summit and do some snow tubing up there. The views are great, but the wind can get cold, so be prepared. Zephyr Cove is the dock for the Tahoe paddlewheel boats, make reservations and see the lake in the winter. Have fun!
