Thank you so much! I know in winter you have snow and in summer water sports but what do you do in April? Besides we are not staying a lot of time so we really want to make the best out of those days!!!

Hello! Yes, in April Tahoe will most likely still have lots of snow. You can sometimes ski in the area up until the 4th of July! So if you ski, xc ski or like sledding you can do that at many of the ski resorts. In South Lake Tahoe the best resort is Heavenly. If you don't want to ski, you can still take the Heavenly Aerial Tram to the top of the mountain for a great view of the lake and the surrounding area. Heavenly also has a zip line to the bottom of the hill.
If the weather permits, catch one of the paddleboats that tour the lake and go into Emerald Bay. You can catch one at Zephyr Cove or at the Ski Run Marina in SLT. It's a great way to see the lake.
If the weather is not great, you can visit the South Lake Tahoe Ice Rink for some ice skating or spend some time in the casinos at Stateline. For some trips outside of SLT, visit Squaw Valley USA and Truckee, CA.
I recommend two great restaurants in SLT. Visit Rude Brothers Bagels for breakfast and the Brewery at Lake Tahoe for pizza and beer. In Meyers, just south of SLT, visit Divided Sky for drinks and live music.
