One of the best places to take your dog is the Tahoe Meadows on Hwy. 431 near the Mt. Rose Ski Resort. No cars to worry about. In South Lake Tahoe you can go to the Bijou Community Park where there is a dog park or Washoe Meadows State Park. Also try some areas off of Hwy 89 in Meyers. Dogs are not allowed off a lease on most beaches.
