• This waterfront development is one of the UK's biggest marinas and you never know who you might bump into in one of its seafront restaurants or cafes, especially during mega-events like the International Boat Show in September. The real attraction is sitting on the waterfront, looking at a forest of masts with a glass in your hand and recognising famous yachts and faces. There are also two cinemas, the Virgin multi-screen and Harbour Lights Picture House, as well as the SS Shieldhall, a fully operational steamship that berths at Ocean Village when it is not at sea.
