Description:
A little off the beaten path, this place not too far from the town center is creatively draped with fishnets, creating a cozy, comfortable atmosphere in a restaurant that charges decent prices. You'll see lots of locals here, which is usually a sign of a good restaurant in Croatia. Tuck into a big plate of lamb or veal hot from the peka (grill); or try the blue fish or octopus. Varos has an unusually long and varied wine list for a simple konoba, which translates to very fair bottle prices.
