Virgin Islands National Park

Description:

  • The spectacular Virgin Islands National Park encompasses nearly two thirds of St. John. Beautiful beaches string out along the perimeter. Hiking trails, ranging from easy to difficult, crisscross the lush interior, heading past old stone and coral plantation ruins and interesting vegetation. Start your visit at the Visitor's Center in Cruz Bay, a five-minute walk from the ferry dock. Rangers will answer your questions and supply you with hiking trail maps and brochures about the park's features. The park has no admission charge except for Trunk Bay and Annaberg Plantation.
