Description:
- At Amighetti's, making sandwiches is serious business. Using recipes brought straight from Italy, The bread is baked in house every day. Often referred to by locals as the "best sandwich in St. Louis," the Amighetti Special is fresh and filled with Italian meats, onions, peppers, and cheese, housed by their magnificent bread. Though many Italian restaurants are known for their homemade salamis and sausages, meatless options are also available, including the meatless lasagna and the Pasta con Broccoli. Children can enjoy lunches for under $4 and all menu items are reasonably priced. Catering is available. -Cathryn D. Blue

A great second choice when the line at Adrianna's is too long and you're short on time. Tasty sandwiches and sides-- overpriced gelato that wasn't that good.
