On the second floor of the Missouri History Museum, this light and airy casual restaurant overlooking Forest Park offers salads, sandwiches (like a bison burger), quiche, and main dishes (grilled salmon topped with a sauce of tomatoes, olives, white wine, garlic, and herbs), as well as a children's menu. It's a good place for lunch if you're visiting the many sights in Forest Park, but more recommendations include the casual Boathouse, with its sandwiches, pizzas, and rental paddle boats (tel. 314/367-2224; www.boathouseforestpark.com); and Puck's, in the Saint Louis Art Museum (tel. 314/655-5490; www.wolfgangpuck.com), with its innovative American cuisine and popular Sunday brunch.
