- The Mihaylovski theater was built in the year 1833 and has been used to stage French opera and ballet for eighty years. The theater has a seating capacity of more than 500 people in the hall and more than 100 spectators at the balcony. Despite its renovation in 2001, the designers have retained the traditional seating arrangement and the interior of the theater. Besides, the stage is used by professional ballet teachers from across Europe to conduct workshops and to encourage the spread of the ancient art form.
