• Never seems to be empty in here and is mainly popular with locals, who chat away garulously while indulging their sweetness of tooth. They also serve a wide range of Russian-type salads, which are popular as well and customers varyingly accompany them with health-conscious juices, bottles of wine or Sovetskoe ('Soviet')champagne or perhaps even a cognac to stave off the cold. Attracts plenty during the summer however, who sit al fresco till late whilst during winter they cram themselves inside the cafe itself, which at New year is lavished with New Year decorations.
