Great Bay Lounge

• If you're way out on the island's easternmost tip, you can visit this elegant but cozy lounge, an airy bar-cum-clubhouse on the grounds of the Ritz-Carlton. One of four restaurants on the grounds of the hotel, it's the most appropriate for late-night down-winding, and as such welcomes a large percentage of managers from other island resorts. Cocktails and glasses of wine cost from $9 to $21 each, platters of food from $10 to $42. Open daily 10am to around 11pm, but we find it's at its most appealing from 8pm on.
