• Tropic Tours is the oldest and largest privately-owned tour company in the US Virgin Islands. It offers airport transfers to and from all hotels on St. Thomas, as well as half-day and full-day island tours of St. Thomas and St. John. The fleet of nine vehicles - some open-sided "safari" cars and some air conditioned coaches - takes visitors to all the popular tourist sites. On St. Thomas you'll go to Magen's Bay, Charlotte Amalie's shopping district, and get a free Banana Daiquiri at St. Peter's Great House. St. John tours include a drive through the National Park area, admission fees, ferry tickets, snorkeling at Trunk Bay, and lunch at Shipwreck Tavern. Prices start at $45 for St. Thomas tours, and $105 for St. John tours. Airport transfers vary by location. The Tropic Tours information desk at Cyril King airport is open seven days a week.
