• Habitués of the Summer Street restaurant row were happy to note the arrival of this take on the Left Bank bistro model. All the doors in front open onto a raised street-side terrace, the floor inside is covered in tiny black-and-white tiles, and the bar has the requisite zinc top. The theme carries through with a menu that features onion soup, escargots, lobster napoleon, duck confit, and so forth. There are even actual French people in attendance! It's all competently done, and the conviviality ushered in during the 5-to-7pm happy hour (Mon-Fri) continues to flow throughout the evening. They have live music Thursday nights.
