Description:

  • Inaugurated by the famous NY ex-mayor Rudy Giuliani in memory of his friend Carl Grillo, this conservatory located in The Staten Island Botanical Garden exhibits a rare and beautiful collection of plants. The 2800 square foot facility has a three zone heating system which can replicate arid, tropical and temperate conditions for the huge variety of plants. Workshops and classes are also conducted along with the exhibits. The green house is famous for its exhibitions of rare flowers and native and regional plants.
