- Globen is the world's largest spherical building, situated in the south of the city. It is visible on the horizon from a great distance. The building has a diameter of 110 metres, and an inner height of 85 metres. It was built in record time—two and a half years. This sports arena is used for a variety of activities, from opera to basketball.
