"Hi David! I live in Stockholm and these are a few of the things locals do: Walk along the water of Årstaviken (start by Hornstull and walk to Skanstull - or the other way around). Stop for a swim at Tanto strandbad or bring something to eat along the way. Summer is the time for drinking beer and wine outside. Please keep in mind that it's prohibited to bring alcohol to some of the parks in Stockholm. Vitabergsparken is a popular spot but no alcohol is allowed between 00-07. If you do not wish to hang out in a park there are plenty of bars in Södermalm. Skånegatan is one of the more popular streets with several great places to go for a beer.
