Description:
- Runners who want to show off, who want to be numero uno, or who are just hoping to make it to the finishing line, all invade Stockholm every year at the beginning of June when it's marathon time. People come to Stockholm to have fun, whether they run or just watch. The past few years have seen around 13,000 participants run the course. National television channel TV4 broadcasts the marathon live. The marathon ends at the Stockholm Olympic Stadium, and the participants run past many of the city's most famous buildings.
