• "The Hip Pocket" (its English name) is, at least for now, a secret address that mainly local foodies know about and want to keep to themselves. It actually shares the same kitchen with its glamorous neighbor, Operakällaren, which means that you get the same food but at only a fraction of the price. When they're in season, we like to come here for Swedish specialties from the far north, such as reindeer and elk. For a starter, dig into the French oysters with a vinaigrette sauce and black bread. That can be followed with a plate of assorted North Sea herring combined with herring from the Baltic. It's a good choice, though you might look longingly at the grilled roast rib of beef with béarnaise sauce being served at the next table. For dessert, try the moist and delectable French chocolate cake with freshly whipped cream for dessert.
