- The first of its kind in the country, this Japanese restaurant is all about traditional flavors in a changing world. Located on the Central Palace, overlooking a tranquil waterfront, the restaurant is every bit as posh on the inside as it appears from the façade. Expect the most outlandish preparations of octopus and squid, alongside the ubiquitous noodle, sushi, sashimi and tempura. Of course, no meal is complete without the traditional sake, though beers, champagne and wines give an international twist to the menu. Ice-creams, sorbets and truffles make up dessert, but the house specials are a must-try. The staff serves up these preparations with the usual Japanese politesse that warrants some brownie points.

Förutsättningarna för besöket var väl inte de bästa. Flickvännen var trött, sur och förkyld jag jag väl inte var på mitt bästa humör heller, men redan i dörren slogs jag av harmoni....
